BER Advisory Committee Releases Report on the International Standing of BER Research

In October 2020, the Biological and Environmental Research Advisory Committee (BERAC) received a charge from the director of DOE’s Office of Science to benchmark the international competitiveness of DOE’s Biological and Environmental Research (BER) program. BERAC recently released a report in response to the charge that (1) assesses BER’s programmatic investments and science contributions over the last decade and (2) provides actionable recommendations to realize emerging science opportunities over the next decade.
